The Cold Winter

Book 1 of the Cold Winter Grid-Down Series

The Niagara Falls grid is down.
A snowstorm is coming in.
The radio promises normalcy will return soon.
Instead, it's a Cold Winter.

The first book in the series follows a group of families in a small central Ohio village trying to do the right thing. They want to help each other weather the outage and help those who show up on their doorstep stranded from the freeway. Even when doing the right thing doesn't work out that great. Their moral compass is pushed to the limit as they struggle to hold onto their values in the extreme situation that is thrust upon them.
